 Home / Dustin R. Jensen
Dustin R. Jensen grew up in Chebanse, Illinois. While an undergraduate, Dustin clerked for a Peoria law firm and quickly realized that he wanted to practice law in the Peoria community. He joined Hasselberg, Rock, Bell & Kuppler as an associate in January of 2013.

Dustin earned his B.A. in History with a minor in Secondary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, cum laude. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Circuit Court of Cook County and worked on complex commercial litigation as a law clerk for a private litigation firm. Dustin began his legal career in Bloomington, Illinois enforcing creditors’ rights and representing insurance companies by defending tort claims and pursuing subrogation rights. Since joining Hasselberg, Rock, Bell and Kuppler, Dustin has focused his practice on litigation.

Dustin has successfully represented claimants and estates in will contests and related probate litigation, appellants and appellees in appeals covering a wide range of substantive issues, and minority as well as majority shareholders in small business disputes involving S corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Dustin also represents victims of employment discrimination, including race and gender discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, disability discrimination in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and age discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Dustin has represented employees and employers in a myriad of other employment related claims, including claims under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Outside of work, Dustin enjoys serving the Peoria community. He serves as a Board Member for the Tazewell County Resource Center and stays active in the community via his participation with his church, the Peoria County Bar Association, and numerous intramural sports leagues.
