Marci M. Shoff grew up in the Peoria area.

After obtaining a B.A. in Finance at the University of Illinois, magna cum laude, and a J.D. at the University of Illinois, cum laude, she knew that she wanted to return to the area. She spent a summer clerking at HRBK during law school and joined the firm as an associate in September of 2002. She became a partner in 2014.


Marci is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois. Marci concentrates her practice in the areas of estates and probate (including estate and probate related litigation), guardianships, real estate transactions and family law. In 2005 Marci was named as the Peoria County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, and served as the Chairperson of the Pro Bono Committee in 2008.


Marci comes from a family of attorneys; her late father, brother and sister-in-law have all practiced law in Peoria. Marci is married and has two children.
